Gospel-reggae singer and musician Sherwin Gardner received a plaque commemorating the success of his 2024 hit song "Find Me Here" (Blessings Find Me).
The Trinidad-born entertainer was presented with a plaque by representatives of his record label Tyscot Records, which acknowledges two billion views of the song on TikTok and over 30 million global streams.
In a post on his Instagram page, Gardner wrote “Wow. What a night! Last night I received one of the biggest surprises of my life, and I am beyond grateful to God for what He has been doing – not just in the past year, but even in this very moment. This journey has not been easy, and at times, it has been challenging. But through it all, God has been faithful, and I know that even greater blessings are on the way.”
Gardner continued in the post, “A THANK YOU to Tyscot Records for this incredible plaque and for celebrating 2 BILLION streams on TikTok with me. This song has been such a blessing, and to see how far it has reached is truly humbling. Thank you for taking a chance on a Caribbean boy like me! To every artist born in the islands – nothing is too hard for God! Keep pushing, keep believing, and keep creating”.
Although it was released over a year ago, Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me) a month ago reached a new peak on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart, when it rose to number ten.
The Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart uses the same methodology as the Billboard Hot 100 the magazine's flagship songs chart by incorporating data from the sales of downloads, streaming data and airplay across all monitored radio stations.
Over on the Billboard Gospel Digital Song Sales chart, Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me) peaked at #2 in early 2024.
Gardner’s latest EP titled Find Me Here, was released on January 17 via Flow Masters Records/Tyscot Records LLC. It features the title track hit single as well as My Blessing (featuring Kevin Downswell and Positive), Thank You, Praise (Lift Him Up) a collaboration with Jonathan Traylor and Tedashii, We Got God and Over Me.
Last year, Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me) also charted on other Billboard charts including US Afrobeats Songs, World Digital Song Sales and Gospel Digital Songs Sales charts.
